ABOUT AMY

4-H Club Member & Sewing Student

Mom taught me that if a sewing project was worth doing, it was worth doing it right.

Even when I picked “the hardest patterns!”

I accepted her expectations:

  • Perfectly straight topstitching, seams and hemlines.

  • Symmetry, centering and equally-spaced gathers

  • A glove-like fit

Some days, I ripped out more stitches than I made.

Today

Designer · Upholsterer · Lover of Old Things with Potential

While I’ve traded cotton for vinyl - and my old Singer for a brand new industrial sewing machine - the more things change, the more they stay the same.

  • Skills transfer.

  • Details matter.

  • Precision counts.

And classic cars make my heart happy.

I’m honored to do this work. Restorations run deep in my family and I understand the care required.

I’m also confident that if I create a design that would please Uncle Charles, construct a seat cover that would make Uncle Rod proud - with topstitching that would pass my mother’s inspection - your satisfaction is all but guaranteed.
